Coronation Street’s Peter Barlow Brings the Iconic Villain Stephen Down

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Peter Barlow left the cobbles after taking part in putting Stephen Reid down. In the previous episodes of the longest-running soap, Peter was covered with fear when Lou joined the meeting at the Underworld factory. She then gave Carla some updates regarding the investigation of her husband’s death. When she mentioned the missing watch, Carla felt uneasy knowing that it was Peter who was behind the lost object.

Later that day, the man called the pawnbroker over the phone hoping he can still retrieve the watch. Little did he know, Stephen was just around the corner when the call happened. He then approached the man and asked about the matter. Peter came clean about the missing watch and expressed his worries as it was already sold.

He must have trusted Stephen so much that he told him everything about his little secret. However, the villain used the situation as an opportunity to escape his evil deed.

He went to Lou’s hotel room and went through Rufus’ belongings to get his tie-pin. The moment he saw the object, he pocketed it and immediately fled the scene.

However, as he stepped out of the hotel, he bumped into Lou along the way. When the woman asked about his whereabouts, Stephen stated that he came to see her to tell her about the missing watch.

As a result, Lou went straight to the Underworld and confronted Carla and Peter about the matter. Moreover, she demanded a £15,000 payment and stormed out of the office.
