Action Comedy Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger Releases New Trailer: Watch Here!

When we prayed that Arnold Schwarzenegger would give us another action comedy in the lines of his movie, “True Lies,” little did we know that our prayers will be answered… for more than two hours! And the accompanying trailer for the show “FUBAR” is funny to the max.

“They’ve got more issues than Sports Illustrated” – this line from a character in the series perfectly describes Arnold Schwarzenegger’s relationship with his onscreen daughter. I guess it’s what happens when “saving the world runs in the family.” Am I moving too fast?

Okay, here’s what’s up – in the trailer at least. Opening with a scene that sees Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Luke Brunner kicking some bad guys’ asses, and throwing in some braggadocios lines for effect, we soon learn that Luke, who is 65 and not the 75 Schwarzenegger is in real life, is retiring from being a secret agent. He’s happy about his retirement, thinking about more time spent with his wife and family.

Unfortunately, this dream of a calm retirement life is shattered when he is reeled back in to the world of espionage, and to his greatest surprise, he sees his daughter Emma (played by Monica Barbaro) in the middle of a mission. Turns out she works for the CIA, just like he used to. Try to process that, because Schwarzenegger’s Luke sure couldn’t.

This leads to the father-daughter duo working together to unravel a case, and you can tell that the combo couldn’t be any more awkward.

“Everywhere I go, people ask me when I’m going to do another big action comedy like True Lies. Well, here it is,” Schwarzenegger previously said in a statement. “FUBAR will kick your ass and make you laugh — and not just for two hours. You get a whole season.”

Joining Schwarzenegger and Barbaro are Fortune Feimster, Jay Baruchel, Milan Carter, Travis Van Winkle, Gabriel Luna, and Aparna Brielle.

Nick Santora serves as the series’ creator, showrunner, and executive producer, alongside Schwarzenegger.
