Angelina Jolie Dating The Weeknd Since July 2021?

Rumors continue to swirl that Angelina Jolie and the Weeknd, also known as Abel Tesfaye, are dating since being spotted together in July of last year.

Speculation over the rumored romance between Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd has continued to expand ever since the two were first seen together July 1, 2021, in Los Angeles.

Neither Jolie nor The Weeknd has confirmed the rumors yet which has probably done nothing to mitigate their growth. Now, with the release of The Weeknd’s new album, Dawn FM, media speculation continues to blossom.

Could The Two Have Simply Been Talking Shop?

The pair reportedly had dinner at a Los Angeles restaurant together before ducking out separately “to avoid raising suspicion” and it appears that objective failed in a big way. The two were caught leaving the posh Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi together and have kept quiet about it ever since.

Though everyone is speculating that it was a date, it doesn’t seem that likely especially after a source told Page Six that it was most likely a business meeting. According to that source, they were “clearly not trying to hide” their dinner date and, “definitely focused on getting to the movie business” referencing the Dawn FM singer’s upcoming HBO series, The Idol.

It’s not a stretch of the imagination to assume that the two were more likely exchanging acting tips or even more likely The Weeknd was asking for the tips from Jolie who is a well-seasoned actor.

The Weeknd’s ‘Starry Eyes’ Seems To Refer To  Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd are not known to be friends and it appears this would be the first time the two have met. Though it might be easy to write the meeting off as business, when we listen to some of The Weeknd’s more recent song lyrics it becomes very suspicious with lines like, “My new girl, she’s a movie star,” or in the track Starry Eyes, on the Dawn FM album, The Weeknd seems to refer to the fact that the actress has been single since she split with Brad Pitt in late 2016.

“You weren’t touched by a man in so long. ‘Cause the last time it was way too strong.”
