According to Page Six, Tom Brady and Reese Witherspoon are certainly not dating. The site says that the two are not romantically involved, and that’s mostly because they’ve never even met before. And as far as those rumors that suggest they have their eyes set on each other, does seem to be false, too.

The rumors began after celebrity gossip site DeuxMoi suggested that Tom and Reese were spending a little time getting to know one another. One tipster even said, “A-list actress who JUST announced her divorce is newly dating A-list NFL athlete who is also recently divorced.”

Needless to say, many critics sure did have a lot to say about this possible pairing. Some have taken to social media to comment on the matter with, “I would actually like this pairing. Type A Reese would whip him into shape and give him a purpose after football,” along with, “He’s very conventionally good-looking, for someone entirely unattractive. He’s as rigid as a plastic G.I. Joe figurine. I can’t imagine she appeals to anyone besides perfectionist women who strive to impress other perfectionist women.”
