Ariana Grande’s New Flame Ethan Slater Seen In New York Amid Divorce From Wife Lilly Jay

There’s trouble in paradise for both Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater as both stars move to divorce their spouses in order to solidify their relationship.

For Ariana Grande, there seems to have been a rift between her and husband Dalton Gomez for as early as the beginning of this year, but Slater seems to have been chill with his wife until very recently.

Slater and Lilly Jay have been together for ten years – married for four – and recently welcomed a baby boy. On the other hand, Grande has only been married to Gomez for two years.

The romance between the “Positions” songstress Grande and actor Slater is “wicked” in more ways than one. First of all, their romance was born when they were filming the musical, “Wicked.”

Secondly, Slater’s wife doesn’t exactly approve of the relationship and accuses Grande of tearing up her family.

Imagine being with a guy for ten years and having his child, only for him to go on set and realize you’re not the real deal? Happily, Jay’s not stressing out about it.

Slater filed for the divorce last week after a source confirmed that he and Grande are full-on dating.

The two were reportedly spotted at multiple times being very friendly on set, but no one suspected they could be dating because they were both thought to be happily married. Slater and Grande have known each other since their high school days and have remained close ever since.

Sources Speaking To PEOPLE, Slater, Returned To New York, And Was Seen Walking Around The City.

Some even say he was Facetiming Grande, 30, while out and about. Slater’s return to New York comes as Jay, Slater’s longtime partner, broke her silence about their split to Page Six this week.

“[Ariana’s] the story really. Not a girl’s girl,” she told the outlet. “My family is just collateral damage.”

Jay, who shares an infant child with Slater, however, said that her priority is in loving and caring for her child and being a “good mom.” She then referenced Grande and Dalton’s divorce, saying, “The story is her and Dalton.”
