On Sunday, Eilish who is fresh off the success of this year’s Grammy, shared another post where she is pictured with blond hair pulled back casually in messy bun, captioning the shot with a simple emoji.

The first photo debuting her new hair which racked up one million likes in just six minutes quickly became the third most-liked photo on Instagram -just behind the “World Record Egg”with 54 million likes and XXXTentacion’s final post before his 2018 death with 23 million likes – and the most liked photo by a woman surpassing number of likes on the first photo of Stormi shared by Kylie Jenner which had 18 million likes.

This wasn’t the first time this week that the “Therefore I Am,” singer broke the internet with hair-related news. Fans had been suspecting that Eilish had been blonde far longer than the world knew, and they turned out to be right.

Eilish shared a video on TikTok revealing that her black and green hair recently had been a wig, furthering confirming that she’d been hiding her blond hair since January with the comment,” “This was in my drafts LOL my hair been blonde for like two months.”
