Okay, it’s old news: are Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani married, are they not? The rumors have been spilling since the two started dating in 2015, and while they would have been married by now had the coronavirus pandemic not happened, reports are stating that the two have secretly tied the knot, and this time there are proofs.

Remember when Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton revealed that they are not looking to have a big wedding, with Stefani doubting the possibility that they will even be employing a band to play at their wedding, they just might have fulfilled that wish, in a super quiet and secret way.

The latest round of speculation ignited when Stefani shared some pretty big news to her fans on Instagram. What news can be bigger than The Voice co-hosts tying the knot? In case anyone missed the gist, she captioned a picture that appeared to have been taken at a bridal shower with the words “SHE’S GETTING MARRIIIEEEED”. To keep her fans guessing, she didn’t specify who was getting married but come on, she was glowing and sipping a glass of (wine?), with a wrapped present in hand, I’m guessing she’s the lucky bride about to walk down the aisle.

This wouldn’t be the first time celebrities kept their big day super private, so it’s not hard to see why she and Blake’s fans instantly jumped to that conclusion.

In pictures released by Page Six, the couple could be seen having a good time at a park. But while that may not seem like a clue that the pair have got their nuptials behind them, a zoomed-in picture revealed that Gwen’s left ring finger was recently bedazzled by a magnificent rock.

Apart from the pandemic pressing a pause on Stefani and Shelton’s wedding, reports also confirmed that Stefani was pushing the date for her marriage because she wanted to have her marriage to ex-husband Gavin Rossdale annulled. The reason is that Stefani wanted the union to be recognized by the church.

“Gwen’s religion has always been extremely important to her,” a source said at the time. “And Blake is completely supportive of this.”

Gwen Stefani is legally divorced from Rossdale, but obtaining an annulment is hard, especially for a couple who have been married for years and share children together.

The annulment would have allowed Stefani to marry Blake Shelton with a clean slate, and though it’s not yet clear whether she got her annulment request fulfilled, it’s very possible that Blake Shelton is now officially her man.

No one knows yet why the couple preferred to keep their big day private, or why they wouldn’t announce whether they’ve actually tied the knot or not, but hopefully, we’ll be hearing from them soon enough.
