Chris McKenna (Jack Brennan) on General Hospital shared several tributes to his friend and mentor, George. In his latest post, where he remembers George as a loving family man, one follower revealed that fans can watch a full day of Cheers on Saturday, May 24. The promo arrived on Justin Ullman’s Catchy Comedy on YouTube, for an all-day binge.

You can find out more by watching the promo below. Meanwhile, you can also binge-watch all 11 seasons of the Paramount/NBC show on Paramount+ via Prime Video. You can watch for free if you sign up for a 7-day trial. However, Streaming Movies noted that you must remember to cancel your subscriptions after seven days.

Hulu carries four seasons on its subscription service, and you can also watch a few episodes on Pluto TV. Then, on YouTube, there are a few episodes that you can watch for free with ads. It won’t be a binge watch, but you can enjoy an hour or so of George Wendt’s humor.

George  appeared in movies like Love’s Second Act. He also starred in Airplane II: The Sequel, No Small Affair, Fletch, The Little Rascals, and Man of the House. If you don’t have paid subscriptions, you might be able to rent them on pay-per-view or buy them via Google Play Movies, YouTube, or Amazon Video.

Never Watched The Comedian?

If you have never watched Cheers or any of the shows with George in them, you should know that millions of people loved the humor that he brought to their screens. He started in theaters in 1974. Later, when he landed up on Cheers, he appeared in all of the episodes on NBC playing the role of Norm Peterson. The show ran from 1982 to 1993, earning him a box full of Emmy Awards. 

Apart from the witty, beer-related one-liners that made George an instant fan favorite, the cast included Kohn Ratzenberger as Cliff Clavin, Kirstie Alley as Rebecca Howe, and Bebe Neuwirth as Dr. Lilith Sternin. Others included Woody Harrelson as Woody Boyd, John Ratzenberger as Cliff Clavin, and Ted Danson as Sam Malone.

The synopsis revealed that it was an American sitcom that took place in a cozy, Boston-based bar where, as the theme song said, “everybody knew your name.” The show revolved around the lives, loves, and everyday banter of the bar’s owner, staff, and a diverse group of regulars.
