Cher Reportedly Wants To Disown Her Children As She Is Looking To Get Married Again

This is certainly the Cher that we don’t recognize. Or at least not this version of the chart topping singer. There’s a new report that suggests Cher is so upset with her family that she is thinking about disowning her children as she’s apparently getting ready to tie the knot with her boyfriend of just a few months, Alexander Edwards. According to The National Enquirer, Cher is having a hard time seeing eye-to-eye with her two adult children, Chaz Bono and Elijah Allman, as they don’t think that Alexander is good news for her. Yet, the 76-year-old diva insists that what she has with Alexander is true love as she is looking to get married sooner rather than later, much to the dismay of her two sons.

One source close to the situation even said, “Cher is so mad at them she’s ready to cut them out of her life completely. She’s been hell bent on marrying this guy and is speaking to lawyers about adjusting her will to make A.E. her sole beneficiary.”

As many fans have probably seen so far, Cher and her lover boy have been packing on the public display of affection everywhere they’ve been going. Back in December, there was also some speculation that Alexander had proposed to Cher after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her all important finger.

Not only that, but the two of them looked like they were joined at the hip during a few Super Bowl parties in Arizona earlier this month.

What’s Next For Cher?

Unfortunately for Cher, her sons believe that Alexander is simply using her and that he might have some kind of ulterior motive behind his romance with the famous singer. In other words, they think that he’s a golddigger. The tipster added, “They think he’s playing her to cash in on her power and influence in the music industry,” while also adding, “Cher doesn’t believe her sons should be counting her cash. If that’s their primary focus, they can kiss the entire pile goodbye.”
