Chris Cuomo Admitted That He Wanted To ‘Kill’ Everyone Soon After He Was Fired From CNN

It’s safe to say that Chris Cuomo did not take his firing from CNN very lightly. The former television show host admitted that he was so angry after he was given the pink slip by the network that he really did feel like going on a shooting rampage. That, and he wanted to kill himself as well. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Page Six, Cuomo made his comments while he was on Anthony Scaramucci’s podcast, “Open Book With Anthony Scaramucci.” He said that it was very difficult for him to come to terms with the fact that CNN wanted nothing to do with him after he was caught advising his brother Andrew Cuomo throughout his sexual misconduct scandal.

Cuomo put it this way, “I had to accept [my firing] because I was going to kill everybody, including myself. Things can consume you.”

And while Cuomo admits that he’s made a lot of mistakes, he did start therapy soon after he was fired and feels as though he’s in a much better place in his life right now.

“There is damage that is relatable, there is damage that is relatable to people that I have to deal with, that I am working on,” he continued.

What’s Next For Chris Cuomo?

And while Cuomo has managed to make a comeback – sort of – he’s not doing so well with his new show on NewsNation. He even admitted that he was embarrassed that his ratings are nowhere near where they were when he was on CNN. Some critics commented on the matter with, “He should never be able to own a gun again. He openly admitted, in public, he was homicidal and suicidal. He should be legally banned from owning a firearm for life. The police should raid his home and search for any firearms. All of his homes.”

Another critic wrote, “I don’t think he’s improved since wanting to do that to people as he sounds super depressed about his lack of viewers on his new show. He needs to be institutionalized in a mental facility for his own good and everyone else’s.”
