Ellen DeGeneres Celebrates Anniversary Filming For Netflix

Ellen DeGeneres entertained fans for years, but it seems that her Netflix show will be the last before the 66-year-old retires. Unfortunately, her 16th anniversary with Portia will be a bit underwhelming because she will be filming on that day. Read on to find out the sweet words that she had for her partner despite working. 

Ellen DeGeneres Might Move From Montecito 

There seems to be a rumor around that tired of being pushed to one side for alleged racism, the Montecito, California resident might relocate to Africa and work with Gorillas at her training center. With possible retirement coming, perhaps she will leave the wealth, glitter, and royal neighbors for somewhere quieter.

One thing that fans of Ellen DeGeneres do know, is that no matter where she goes, or what she does in years to come, the former talk show host will have Portia at her side. You can’t choose your family or even your audience. But, you can choose the one you love. 

Netflix Films On Anniversary 

On Saturday, the famous comedian took to her Instagram and shared a screenshot and other photos of herself with Portia. After crediting @heathercurriebeauty with some of the photos, she told her followers that she’ll be busy with Netflix on their special day. 

Ellen DeGeneres wrote in her caption:

I will be celebrating my 16th wedding anniversary on the 16th of August in Minneapolis filming my final Netflix special. What a day!!! I’m so lucky to be loved by the most amazing person I’ve ever met. I love you Portia. You’re my everything.

Despite a lot of people still frowning about allegations of on-set bullying, many people still adore Ellen,  and they love that she seems to be in a healthy relationship with Portia de Rossi. So, some nice comments went their way. here are some reactions by loyal fans:
