It’s hard to believe that four months have gone by since the tragic passing of Bob Saget at the age of 65. He passed away in his hotel room while on a stand-up comedy tour. The loss of the Full House star was hard on all his friends, family and fans. Meanwhile, May 17, 2022, would have been Saget’s 66th birthday. This led his former co-star Candace Cameron Bure to join Bob’s widow, Kelly Rizzo in paying tribute to the late actor.

Among these were GAC actress Candace Cameron Bure, his Full House co-star and former Hallmark actress. Bure joined Saget’s widow, Kelly Rizzo in paying tribute to the comedian on Instagram.

Kelly posted a series of images and videos from a trip to Mexico that she and her husband took in 2021. In her moving caption, Rizzo explained that as her and Bob’s birthdays are only two days apart, they would always celebrate with an annual vacation. Meanwhile, Kelly also wrote lovingly about her late husband and the impact he continues to have. She noted that this last trip was special, saying they both “celebrated each other so big.”

“You never know when something is going to be “the last” time. But I’m so grateful that he was showered with all of the love he deserves. I pray he can see all of the love he’s already getting from around the world today. Honey, everyone loves you so damn much. Everyone wants you to know how important and special you are on your special day, and we ALL celebrate you.” Rizzo added that Bob was “one of a kind” and that he made her world go around.

“I love you more than anything and miss you every minute. Your girls and I will hold on tight to each other today. And I know you’d want me to get a martini tonight, so I’ll oblige. Happy birthday, honey.”

Naturally, Candace also paid tribute to her former co-star on what would have been his 66th birthday. Sharing a black and white image of the comedian and actor, Bure wrote a beautiful caption. She openly admitted that Saget has left a void in her life.

Surrounded by heart emojis, Candace wrote: “I miss you. Do I still say happy birthday? I don’t know how this works, but I’m celebrating you today however badly my heart hurts.”
