The speculation began when the Hollywood actor looked like he wanted to be anywhere but beside his wife at the Grammys earlier this month. Here’s what you need to know.

According to The National Enquirer, Jennifer is so over her husband Ben’s moody ways and thinks that they need therapy in order to save their marriage. But it seems like their problems might be a little more deeper than that.

One source put it this way to the publication, “Ben’s unhappiness is mainly due to how controlling and rigid Jennifer is, not to mention her being downright unfriendly to his friends and family. But, in her mind, he’s the one with the issue. She thinks he just needs to snap himself out of his funk because it’s not only embarrassing but also potentially damaging to their brand.”

The source went on to say that things just haven’t worked out well for Jennifer and Ben ever since they got married in Georgia last August. In fact, things just seem to be going from bad to worse.

Dr. Gilda Carle, who has not treated the couple, tells The National Enquirer, “Ben can’t leave the house to run errands without Jennifer wanting to tag along, and then of course he has to wait for her to get all dolled up because she wants to look her very best in the public eye. He suffers through it, but he doesn’t like it. His bored expression at the Grammys was a good example.”

It also seems like Ben’s demons that he was fighting with in the past have come back to haunt him as well. “Ben is a dependent addict and Jennifer is a control freak who needs constant affirmation. This is almost as though she’s branding him as her property and sending a signal to the world that he becomes to her – which is ultimately a recipe for failure in a solid relationship.”
