Will Smith – Uses TikTok For Oscars Reminder

For months, the entertainment world has linked Will Smith’s name to his infamous Oscars slap scandal. But the actor seems to have decided that the time for scolding him has ended. And so Will turned to TikTok to show off his Oscar award.

However, Smith first paid attention to Miss Money Working (Sam Rossi) in the TikTok duet video. And Rossi explained how questioning an object about its views can result in an answer. “This works because everything has consciousness,” she noted. “You can pick up a pen and ask it how it sees you or what it thinks of you.”

And the video showed Will listening intently. But though Smith looked somewhat puzzled at some points, he continued to pay attention as Rossi shared the listening exercise. “And you will get an answer in your mind from your intuition. You can ask your car what it thinks of you, you can even ask money what it thinks of you.” That led to Smith holding his Best Actor Oscar for viewers to behold.

TikTok Reacts To Will Smith Displaying Oscar Award

However, while Smith showed off his Best Actor Oscar and remained silent in the TikTok video, his followers finished that listening exercise for him. For instance, one theorized that Will’s Oscar would respond, “Why you do that, Will?” about slapping Chris Rock. And another TikTok follower suggested, “What have we learned?” would make an appropriate response.

But others questioned if it seems too soon for Smith to start joking about slapping Chris Rock at last years Academy Awards. Triggered when Rock joked about Will’s wife Jada, Smith both physically and verbally assaulted Rock in front of a stunned audience. However, months later, Will did share his regrets in a lengthy video, noted EW.

And Smith described himself as “deeply remorseful.” But the actor added, “I’m trying to be remorseful without being ashamed of myself.” And he defended himself as “human, and I made a mistake.”

However, what Will views as a mistake resulted in a 10-year ban from the Academy Awards. And Smith expressed regret about how his actions impacted his future movies. “I definitely lose a couple winks of sleep every night thinking that I could have potentially penalized my team,” the actor shared. “But I’m going to do everything I can to make sure everyone gets seen in the light that they deserve.”
