Jennifer Lopez HINTS At Sex Addiction: Does Ben Affleck KNOW?!

Jennifer Lopez still remains married to Ben Affleck. But the just-dropped trailer for a new movie starring Jennifer hints at a different side of Lopez that includes going to a meeting similar to Sex Addicts Anonymous.

Jennifer Lopez Stars In New Movie

Titled “This Is Me… Now,” Jennifer Lopez’s new movie narrates a very different side of the singer/actress. And the trailer that just dropped explains that the film comes from Jennifer’s “heart, soul, and dreams,” per Entertainment Weekly.

But those dreams range from multiple partners to sex addiction therapy. And the trailer reveals Lopez’s pals in a confrontation with her about getting that type of mental health support.

Because Jennifer at first claims that seems ridiculous, the trailer in some ways resembles the “real” Lopez.

However, the narrative film subsequently reveals Jennifer at a group therapy meeting that resembles a Sex Addicts Anonymous meeting. And Lopez reflects, “I learned the hard way — not all love stories have a happy ending. Whenever someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, the answer was always in love.”

Jennifer Lopez Re-Imagines Her Own Life

But although the movie supposedly re-imagines Jennifer’s life, her longing to be always in love shows in her real life. And thus far, Jennifer has gone through four marriages, multiple romances, and several engagements. Jennifer co-wrote the movie with Matt Walton.

And the trailer promises that the movie represents the actress/singer’s own story in her own words. However, Prime Video describes the project a, “a narrative-driven cinematic odyssey, steeped in mythological storytelling and personal healing.”

But rather than assign the movie a category such as a romance, Prime Video describes the film as a “genre-bending Amazon original.” And it “showcases her journey to love through her own eyes. With fantastical costumes, breathtaking choreography, and star-studded cameos, this panorama is an introspective retrospective of Jennifer’s resilient heart.”

But Lopez chose to debut her movie on the same day as her first studio album in 10 years. And it also uses the title This Is Me…Now. However, some scenes in the trailer hint at a musical aspect to the film, that could include songs from Jennifer’s new album.

And the trailer also shows the impressive cast. Included are Fat Joe, Trevor Noah, Kim Petras, Post Malone, Keke Palmer, Sofia Vergara, Jenifer Lewis, Jay Shetty, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Sadhguru, and Derek Hough. But for those wondering if Jennifer’s husband Ben Affleck knew about the sex addict element, he stars in the movie as well. Lopez’s new movie will debut on Feb. 16 on Prime Video.
