Jojo Siwa Blasts Dance Moms Producers For Doing “Some Shady S**t”

Jojo Siwa Blasts Dance Moms Producers For Doing “Some Shady S**t”On Wednesday, May 1, ‘Dance Moms: The Reunion’ special aired on Lifetime, and while there were a lot of drama happening right on our screens, Jojo Siwa is now telling us that the drama didn’t end there. Okay.

Jojo Siwa Claims ‘Dance Moms: The Reunion’ Producers Tried To Stir Drama Between Cast Members

While Jojo Siwa may want to stir online drama with her looks and music, she does not want it to exist between her and her fellow co-stars. And yet that’s exactly what the producers of ‘Dance Moms: The Reunion’ wanted her to do on the show.

“There was a few times on the reunion where the producers tried to do some shady s**t,” she recalled, adding that she felt producers wanted unnecessary drama to exist between her and her fellow former stars — Kalani Hilliker, Kendall Vertes, Chloé Lukasiak, Paige Hyland, and Brooke Hyland.

“The producers wanted me and Chloé to kind of get into it a little bit and talk about our online beef, and honestly that’s not how I feel anymore,” she said. But that’s not all that’s irking Siwa about the reunion.

Her greatest anger came from the fact that she was expected to join in on calling out the ‘Dance Moms’ stars who refused to return for the reunion, including, Nia Sioux, Maddie Ziegler and Mackenzie Ziegler.

When producers allegedly tried to push her to call the show’s former star, dance teacher Abby Lee Miller, on the phone during filming, she knew she had to make a stand.

“Me and Kalani are the two that have a relationship with Abby. … Paige, Brooke and Chloé don’t have any, and it was not a healthy end of a relationship,” the 20-year-old said, referring to the infamous quarrel between their parents and the dance coach which resulted in them leaving the show.

“And the producers kept wanting me to call Abby.”

“And I was like, ‘Absolutely not.’ That is where I put my foot down,” Siwa said. “I was like, ‘I’m not only putting myself in an awkward position of calling in this environment, that no one invited her to, but also I’m putting Abby in a weird situation where she is talking to people who she doesn’t necessarily know how to talk to them.”

To top it all off, she needed to protect how her co-stars felt because she believes that “there is real trauma there.”
