Kanye West Sues Ex-Worker YesJulz $8m For Allegedly Leaking Texts With Rapper

Apparently, wherever Kanye West goes, drama follows, which leads to the question: isn’t it time to crown him the Drama King?

This is because of the incessant drama following the “Donda” rapper everywhere he goes. For example, the recent lawsuit he filed against his ex-worker YesJulz.

Before we delve into the lawsuit, let’s first of all look at the events that led to the lawsuit, shall we?

On Tuesday, March 12, the “Graduation” rapper released a public announcement that he and YesJulz, the 34-year-old media personality, born Julianne Marrie Goddard, are no longer working together.

It is worth knowing that YesJulz worked with Kanye during the rollout of “Vultures” Vol 1 which was released in February.

Kanye’s post which was shared via his Instagram story as of then read, “We have decided to no longer have YesJulz involved in the roll out of Vultures.

All the activity on her page and with our fans in the past few days has been unauthorized.” Kanye’s announcement came after some reports claimed that the marketer attempted to recruit some Kanye fan accounts on various social media platforms to work on a free app behind Kanye’s back.

Kanye West — YesJulz’s Reaction And Kanye’s Lawsuit

Following the report, and the follow-up dismissal post, the talent management took to X to address the report that led to her dismissal.

She tweeted, “I never wanted work done for free. I wanted to help the fans present their work to Ye. So that he could hire them. Anyone who has ever been in contact with me for as little as 5 minutes knows the last thing I’d ever need to steal, Is an idea.”

She also reacted to Kanye’s claims that she leaked private chats about the subsequent Vultures album, and how she went against the NDA she signed. YesJulz reacted by posting, “F**k an NDA. Sue me.”

When a fan asked about the millions of dollars that the 46-year-old rapper claimed she owes the company as a result of breaking the NDA rule, she replied, “I dare Milo or any lawyers at YZY to try.”

Well, as they say, ‘ask and you shall receive,’ Kanye gave Julianne the lawsuit she asked for. Once again, taking to his Instagram stories, the dad of four shared a copy of the lawsuit filed against the entrepreneur.

Part of the lawsuit read, “Julianne Goddard has repeatedly, intentionally and grossly violated the terms of her Non-Disclosure Agreement with complainants including publicly disclosing corporate sales figures, social media strategies, text messages with Ye and management, release plans for Vultures album and product designs before release.”
