Kate Moss Testifies In Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard Trial

Kate Moss is set to testify soon in the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial after Heard testified about an altercation between her sister and Johnny Depp in which she referenced “Kate Moss and stairs.”

Heard referenced Moss earlier this month during testimony discussing an alleged altercation between Depp and her sister Whitney Henriquez. The Rum Diaries actress stated that her sister was near a staircase “in the line of fire … trying to get Johnny to stop.”

Then Heard indicated that the incident reminded her of a similar one rumored to have occurred between Depp and Moss. [Whitney’s] back was to the staircase, and Johnny swings at her,” the 3 Days to Kill actress testified, adding, “I don’t hesitate, I don’t wait — I just, in my head, instantly think of Kate Moss and stairs.”

“And I swung at him,” Hear said of the alleged March 2015 incident between herself, Henriquez and Depp. She continued, explaining that it was the first time she had ever landed a punch on the Pirates of the Caribbean star “square in the face.”

Heard continued, adding that Depp hadn’t pushed Henriquez down the stairs. The 34-year-old Henriquez later testified that Johnny Depp once hit her and then repeatedly struck her sister as she attempted to defend Henriquez.

Johnny Depp – Attorney’s Rejoice At Heard’s Mentioning Moss

Depp’s lawyers were seen fist bumping when Heard brought up Moss in her testimony. We can assume that their jubilation had to do with the opportunity Heard’s testimony availed them to bring in the model as an impeachment witness to dispel the rumored incident.

Heard mentioned Kate Moss first in testimony at Depp’s UK defamation suit in 2020, per the New York Post. Heard testified that she remembered hearing that Depp had pushed Moss down the stairs. The London Fields actress testified while describing the same fight between her sister and Depp. “I had heard this rumor from two people, and it was fresh in my mind.”
