Kim Cattrall Is On A Mission To Fight Off Aging

She simply wants to put her best face forward, whichever that one may be. Even though Kim Cattrall once said that she wants to age gracefully, that comment has certainly not aged well as well. That’s because the former Sex and the City star says that she wouldn’t mind a little medical intervention here and there if needed. Here’s what she has to say.

Kim Cattrall – Is On A Mission To Fight Off Aging

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Kim said that she’s all about stopping the clock – and is willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

She put it this way, “There are so many other alternatives now, treatments that stimulate your own body to fight aging. There are fillers, Botox, there’s so many different things that you can investigate and try and see if it’s for you.”

But there’s a reason why Kim has had a change of heart about getting anti-aging treatment done. That’s because she’s noticed a decline in her screen time ever since she hit 60 years of age.

She said, “It was a gradual change, but the scripts were cut in half. [In Hollywood] you’re either an ingenue or a leading lady and then a divorced wife or a cougar. And I’m none of those things. So I wanted to examine that.”

And while Kim said that she’s looking for the right surgeon, she added, “t’s not just a vanity thing. I play a certain kind of woman who looks a certain kind of way. And professionally I am looking after myself. It can’t be emphasized enough. You want to look like you!”

What’s Next For Kim Cattrall?

Many of her fans and critics alike have commented on the matter with, “What I wish women would do is write, direct, and produce more roles for women of a certain age!! Make it more acceptable for women to just be women. We can look our best without heading for a surgeon.”

Another fan wrote, “A beautiful woman dies twice. Since we now have Fonda and the ladies pushing a new vision of senior citizenry, perhaps the roles will open up. But that demographic needs to show hell up to the theater. Films are only getting a week or two now to make a splash.

Even Cate Blanchett feels the need to mess with her face. So I get what Kim is saying and I understand that she needs to get her paycheck.”
