Kim Kardashian Critics Diss her After People’s Choice Fashion Icon Award

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to adulation and awards. Mind you, these days she takes some heat from fans as she and Kanye seem all over the place in their versions of the divorce and her relationship with Pete Davidson. Well, she just won the award for Fashion Icon at the People’s Choice Awards. and critics dissed on her. 

Kim Kardashian Lose Some Shine And Confuses Fans

In November, fans became confused by Kim and new beau Pete Davidson. Actually, she seems to send an awful lot of mixed messages about Kanye. Everyone seems to know that the two famous faces are actually a couple, despite them not saying much about it. But, a photo can reveal a thousand things. Recently, Kim went off to Palm Springs with Pete but they couldn’t escape the paparazzi. They photographed them walking near her mom’s place. As they strolled along, they held hands like teenagers in love. She wore a pair of her Ex’s Yeezy shoes and fans suspected she sent a secret message to Kanye showing that she thinks of him.

Kim Kardashian seems lighthearted about the divorce and tends to joke about it, as she did at a recent gay wedding she attended. Meanwhile, Kanye sounds anything but lighthearted. In fact, he seems to want to keep the family together. On a podcast, he said, “We’re not even divorced…That ain’t no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together.” Notably, he still refers to Kim as his wife.  Well, it’s very interesting that when she won her People’s Choice Award for fashion Icon, Kim mentioned Kanye.

Kim Kardashian Talks Kanye At People’s Choice Awards

When the People’s Choice Awards took place in Santa Monica, she won the Fashion Icon Award. In her acceptance speech, People Magazine reported that she said, “To Kanye, for really introducing me to the fashion world. I fell in love with fashion and I’m so inspired by so many people but again, this is like a dream that I get to wake up and wear these amazing clothes and try new things and take a risk. I’m so humbled.”

Kim Kardashian might still think kindly of Kanye, which folks find confusing, but not everyone thinks that she deserves a Fashion Icon label. Of course, Twitter focuses on the news, and some rather uncomplimentary things were said by critics. Generally, Twitter seems less forging and more intolerant of TV stars than Instagram.

Critics Diss Kim

One critic of Kim Kardashian wrote, “Huh? Kim Kardashian won 2021 fashion icon??? When we have Zendaya. ZENDAYA COLEMAN WAS RIGHT THERE! Is this hell we’re in?” Then another critic penned sarcastically, “Because looking like a neon biker or wearing an all black body suit is so fashion forward!“

This comment also arrived: “Kim Kardashian won a fashion award which is so funny to me because she never wears any clothes. In fact she [is] one of the least clothed celebs out there.”

And this one also dissed on her: “Why is @KimKardashian wearing gigantic sunglasses inside while looking like a bug all while accepting a fashion award? Seriously take them off you don’t look cool, you look like .”
