As a result of Kim’s previous request to restore her single status, Kanye cannot change that situation. But her decisions about child custody could turn into a dragged-out mess. 

For instance, Kim has called herself the primary caregiver. But Kanye repeatedly challenges that claim. And West also may push back on Kardashian about rules like holidays and parenting. As a result, a judge may need to intervene to establish the guidelines.
