Kardashians Want Blac Chyna To Pay For Their Legal Fees Which Costs Over $390K

Kardashians Want Blac Chyna To Pay For Their Legal Fees Which Costs Over $390KThe Kardashians may have won the case but they still want more… They want the legal fees they spent on the case paid back to them, every single dime and they’re not asking, they’re pretty much demanding that Blac Chyna pay them the money which costs more than $390,000.

Two months ago, Black Chyna reopened the lawsuit case she filed against Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner for being the reason her show Rob and Chyna reality TV show on E! was canceled, just to get back at her for breaking up with Rob Kardashian. Although Kris Jenner had said repeatedly in court that she had no right whatsoever in determining which show should be aired on E!.

Let me take you back to what brought upon the resurrection of the lawsuit in the first place. Sometime in April, Blac Chyna made a post on social media about not getting any child support for taking care of her children, the post was repeatedly reposted until it got to Instagram where the fathers of her two children (King and Dream which Chyna shares with her exes Tyga and Rob Kardashian) got hold of it and countered what she said by saying that they don’t need child support when it comes to taking care of their children by paying their school fees.

The posts of Tyga and Rob garnered more reactions as fans were in support of both guys and against Chyna. Amid the tweets and reposts, Khloe Kardashian commented in support of her brother and that single act by Khloe triggered what we believed to be a buried anger in Blac Chyna and that brought about the reopening of the lawsuit she once filled against the KarJenners.

Kardashians — About The Lawsuit And Legal Fees

In the lawsuit, Chyna sued the Kardashians for $100 million for monetary damages but a jury ruled against it saying that no monetary damages should be awarded to Chyna.

Now, a month after the ruling, the Kardashians are pressing for Chyna to pay for their legal fees. Last week, the attorney for Kardashians Michael G. Rhodes, filed paperwork to request the money Blac Chyna owes them following their defamation trial that she lost.

Among the costs listed on the petition are about $5,000 in filing and motion fees, more than $4,000 in jury fees, and upwards of $63,000 in deposition costs. Also included in the costs are about $9,300 in service of process fees, nearly $20,000 in court reporter fees, and almost $185,000 in fees related to models, enlargements, and photocopies of exhibits.

Additionally, the Kardashian-Jenner family’s defense team spent more than $700 on electronic filing, another approximately $7,200 on electronic document hosting, and upwards of $96,000 on other costs.

Part of the judge’s decision when he ruled in favor of the Kardashian family was that Chyna would be liable for the Kardashians legal fees. Chyna’s attorney Lynne Ciani said that she planned on appealing the decision.
Kardashians — What Blac Chyna’s Attorney Responded To Kardashians Lawsuit

Due to the verdict, Chyna’s mom Tokyo Toni went on to launch a GoFundMe in the hopes of raising $400,000. It has raised only $1,355 so far.

Blac Chyna’s attorney Lynne Ciani responded to the Kardashians’ request for Blac Chyna to pay for their legal fees saying “Kris Jenner’s attempt to financially ruin Angela White, the mother of her granddaughter Dream Kardashian, will not work.”

Lynne Ciani said, “Under California law, costs are awarded to defendants only when they are without fault. In this case, a Los Angeles jury reached a verdict that defendant Kris Jenner falsely claimed that ‘Chyna beat the sh** out of Rob’s face’ and that defendant Kylie Jenner falsely claimed that Chyna would ‘proceed with using and physically abusing my brother.’ The same Los Angeles jury reached a verdict that defendants Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner did not act reasonably and in good faith to protect their own economic interests in the ‘Rob & Chyna’ show.”

During the trial, Kris Jenner and Kylie Jenner alleged that Chyna beat up Rob Kardashian and strangled him with the cord of an iPhone.
