Kourtney Kardashian is a free spirit, but she might have gone further than free when she neglected to tell her mom Kris Jenner of her plans to do her pregnancy reveal in a massive way. Remember the “Travis I’m Pregnant” banner she held up at one of his shows? Yup, it was that big of a reveal.

And guess what? Kris found out about it from the news, and she’s not happy. Khloé is playing the mediator in this mini-feud.

Pregnancy reveals are one of the joys of parenthood, and everyone seeks to do theirs in a way that pops and screams joy.

On the latest episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, it was revealed that the Lemme co-founder, 44, might have gone AWOL with the way she and husband Travis Barker decided to announce their pregnancy to the world.

“Kourtney and Trav have been trying to have a baby for so long, so the fact that Kourt is pregnant, I’m so, so, so happy that this happened for her,” sister Khloé Kardashian said in a confessional.

In the scene, Kris shared that she was “hurt” when she learned of the pregnancy reveal on ABC News rather from her own daughter. “I thought I was being Punk’d and then I realized it was the ABC News. I knew she was pregnant, but I just didn’t know she was going to announce it, “ the momager explained.

Kourtney maintained that her intentions were never to harm anyone but that she simply “forgot.” Kris easily understood why, having been pregnant several times during her youth: “She forgot she had a family. That’s what pregnancy brain does. It’s just wild how that happens.”

In her own confessional, the expectant mom explained that she didn’t invite her family to the LA comcert because she “didn’t think that they would care to come.”

“I did tell Khloé about it and she asked me to change it to San Diego. It’s not about you,” she noted. “It was truly just our way to tell the world and it was just about me and Travis, not about anything else.”
