Lady Gaga Has Been ‘Laying Low’ For A While, Here’s Why

You might be wondering what’s up with the “A Star Is Born” actress Lady Gaga, well, you can calm down now for the “Bloody Mary” singer is alright. She’s fine and busy filming her upcoming film “Joker: Folie à Deux.”

Despite joining in on the trending TikTok dance from the Neflix’s comedy-horror series “Wednesday,” which was choreographed by actress Jenna Ortega, Gaga have been unusually quiet of late.

Recently, a source close to Entertainment Tonight revealed that, “Gaga has been laying low because she is so focused on her work. She’s completely immersed in the Joker sequel and a lot of her energy is going toward that. She is totally in the zone and wants to kill it.”

Lady Gaga — On Gaga’s Upcoming “Joker: Folie à Deux”

After Joker was released in 2019, talks of Lady Gaga being the next Harley Quinn sprung up in 2022. After it was released that “Joker: Folie à Deux will be a musical, and a completely different story from the original, speculations started that Gaga would be cast in it.

In the teaser trailer which announced that a sequel of joker is in the works, it can be seen that “Joker: Folie à Deux” will be released on October 4, 2024, which is 5 years after the release of the first one.

The trailer features a red and black background with the word “PHOENIX” plastered on it. Next, a shadow of Phoenix was featured, dancing in a slightly tipped position. This was accompanied by Gaga’s shadow doing her own kinda dance.

The word “JOKER” was splashed on the screen before we got to see joker and his love object Harley Quinn already merged and dancing together. The next word that came up on the screen is “Joker: Folie à Deux” and “10.04.24.”

Lady Gaga — What Margot Robbie Said About Gaga Starring As Harley Quinn.

Last year December, star of “Birds of Prey” Margot Robbie shared her excitement on having someone else play the role of Harley Queen. She said, “I think she’s going to do an amazing job. I’m so excited, it’s all I could’ve ever hoped for Harley was that she would become one of those characters, kinda like Batman or Hamlet, that’s gets handed from actor to actor, everyone gets a go at playing them,” said Robbie.

Last year it was revealed that the sequel to the film is set to be in an entirely different universe from that of Jared Leto and Margot Robbie. And it is quite fitting because Phoenix’s Joker was set in his own universe that equally has Gotham City in it.
