Madonna fell terribly ill with a respiratory infection and for a while, it seemed that her life was touch and go. Anyway, due to medical intervention, she came off her intubation and recovered enough to go home. However, little feedback came. But on July 10, she took to social media and made a statement.
Fans Of Madonna Were Getting Impatient For News
The news that the iconic singer was ill arrived via her manager, Guy Oseary at the end of June. If you don’t know, she was found unresponsive at home.
Fortunately, a shot of Narcan possibly saved her life and she was rushed to a hospital. Initially, fans understood that she might have to delay her Celebration Tour. Most people just hoped that she would recover. Some of them wondered if she should retire.
Madonna has a friend named Rosie O’Donnell, and she was the one who told people that the singer had left the hospital and was mending at home. However, with no further statements from Guy Oseary, they started to champ for more feedback. Actually, Many people flooded her comments about it and not a few slaps went the way of Guy. However, it wasn’t really fair on Rosie as she’s not an official spokesperson. However, hopefully, that will stop as the famous entertainer broke her silence and issued a statement on Twitter.
Madonna Didn’t Want To Let People Down
In her statement, she started by expressing her gratitude to everyone who sent in prayers and positive energy. Additionally, she confirmed that she’s on the mend and that she appreciates all of her many blessings. Actually, impatient fans should have known that she would not leave them hanging, and eventually, she would make a statement.
Her first thought was not about fans and the tour when she came around. Instead, Madonna thought about her kids. However, hot on the heels of that, came her concern about fans who waited on the Celebration Tour. Preparation for a tour involves a lot of hardworking people, so she felt bad for them as well. Well, if you hadn’t already heard, the tour has been pushed back by a few months. So, it’s not going to happen real soon.
Health First – Tour Later
Right now, Madonna needs time to focus on her health. So, the Celebration Tour won’t happen until October. As she kicks it off in Europe, fans there will be the first to attend. However, Americans will still see her perform and no doubt, more information will arrive about that. For now, a lot of fans agree that she should focus on her health so she can continue her amazing career.
