The divorce news of Miley Cyrus’ parents came out six months ago. Not long after, Miley’s dad, Billy Ray, began seeing Firerose: a lady he collaborated with in their 2021 song “Achy Breaky Heart.” Recently, there’s been rumors that the “Autumn” singer popped the question to Firerose and she said yes. The rumors have been going on before Tuesday, Oct. 18, but magnified when Billy Ray and Firerose made a joint post on their social media accounts. They shared a casual picture featuring the two of them. Although one detail wasn’t left unnoticed, Firerose has a diamond ring on “that finger.”

Well, congratulations were truly in order, even though the pair never came out to confirm or debunk the engagement rumor. Firerose on the other hand has since been making posts of herself rocking the diamond ring on “that finger.” What other confirmation do we need? Miley Cyrus — How Miley Feels About Her Dad’s New Relationship

Miley is known to be super close to her dad since childhood, no doubt, she’s not a fan of her parents’ divorce but, according to a source close to the Hannah Montana star told E! News exclusively that “The divorce between her parents have put a strain on her relationship with her dad and it’s been hard to connect with him in the last year, she hopes they can eventually work on their relationship.”

This year isn’t the first time Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus called their marriage quits, actually, this is the third time, the first time was in 2010, the second time was two years later, a month later the pair dismissed the divorce case citing that they realized that they still love each other, and they want to work through their problems, they even mentioned that they’re seeing a therapist to help them. This year’s divorce, the couple cited “irreconcilable differences” as their reason, Tish also revealed that since February 2020, she and Billy Ray haven’t lived together as a couple.

According to the source, since her parent’s divorce, Miley has drawn close to her mom, trying to be supportive, the source also revealed that Miley isn’t in close terms with her dad’s new girlfriend/fiance, but Miley hopes her dad is happy with his relationship.

Miley Cyrus — On How Billy Ray Met Firerose

In August 2021, Firerose shared the details of when she first met Billy Ray at Live With Kelly and Ryan, according to Firerose she met the musician on set while filming Hannah Montana, “We actually met 10 years ago on the set of Hannah Montana,” Firerose went on to say that Billy Ray has been a source of motivation to her all through her musical career, Billy Ray has “been a phenomenal supporter of my music. He’s just really believed in me and continued to tell me to pursue my dreams no matter what and not give up. The music industry is not easy, but he’s been just a really, really incredible support.”

Aside from Miley, Billy Ray and Tish also share children Braison, 28, and Noah, 22. Billy also adopted Tish’s two kids, Brandi, 34, and Trace, 33, who she had in her past relationship.
