Ozzy Osbourne is at it again, this time offering fans a piece of himself. In an unusual move, the “Prince of Darkness” teamed up with Liquid Death to sell his DNA. Read on to find out more.

The DNA Sale

The aging musician (79), took ten iced tea cans that he personally drank from. Then they were carefully sealed, and each one was labeled “Infinitely Recyclable Ozzy,” per Syracuse.com. It seems a bit bizarre to buy one, but they did come with his autograph, which is a collector’s item.

Each can was reportedly sold at “$450” each. However, the site now shows the product sold out and the price listed is 19 Euro. Perhaps he will make some more of them. It’s a little bit like you see on television, where the detective seals away a can or cup when a criminal has used it, in order to extract DNA.

New Ozzy In The Future

Liquid Death said those cans can “replicate” Ozzy once law and technology moves with the times. Osboure said that’s what he wants, demanding, “Clone me, you bastards.” Notably, though, the fine print added a disclaimer: “DNA integrity and cloning results not guaranteed.”

One way or the other, the famous rocker wants to be remembered. People noted that it’s not the first time he did something like this. The outlet noted that last year, he partnered with the company to promote a “Death Dust” electrolyte drink.

Just A Marketing Ploy?

While it might sound like a clever marketing play, Ozzy Osbourne probably doesn’t need the money. However, several 90 Day Fiancé stars offered their body gas for sale and did well. Then, Sydney Sweeney sold her bathwater via soap bars.

Perhaps there will be a nice profit made when the buyers finally sell them. Or clone them. Hopefully, in the future, people won’t be able to sell clones. And, if they are not rockers in a hundred years, people might hate too many crazy Ozzy clones making music.

Upcoming Final Concert

All of this leads up to Ozzy’s big bash before he retires from the music scene. A Black Sabbath farewell concert, titled “Back to the Beginning” is set for July 5 in Birmingham. The show will benefit some great organizations that help those in need. They include “Cure Parkinson’s,” ” Birmingham Children’s Hospital” and “Acorn Children’s Hospice.”

Ozzy has struggled with Parkinson’s disease since 2003, along with other health issues that make mobility hard for him. However, he’s been training hard and seems determined to give one last Hurrah! So, he contracted a fitness coach to help him make it through the concert.
