Host of the This is Paris podcast, Hilton dished the details during her appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel talk show. Guest host Chelsea Handler asked the 41-year-old socialite about Britney Spears’ wedding to Sam Asghari,. And Paris explained how she had to choose. 

Hilton’s conflict began when President Joe Biden requested that she serve as DJ for the Summit of Americas dinner. But Paris refused in order to attend Spears’ wedding. The conflict took place because the two events occurred on the same night. And Paris stayed firm. “No, I’m not going to miss [Britney Spears’ wedding],” she said.

However, Hilton shared that the President even tried to persuade her to do both. And his representatives offered to send a helicopter so the socialite could fly back and forth. But Paris declined. “I’m not going to be the one, like, landing in and out of Britney’s wedding in a helicopter. C’mon! So, I had to cancel on the president. Sorry!”

Paris Hilton – Cherishes Britney Spears Friendship

Britney Spears and Paris Hilton began their friendship in the early 2000’s. And Hilton first offered a clue to attending Britney’s wedding during her podcast. But although Paris recorded the podcast just after the wedding, she did not spill details of the ceremony.

“Hey everyone. I just got home, and I was on my Twitter and saw tons of messages since I got photographed going into an event tonight,” shared Hilton. But she noted that she kept the event “top-secret all week.” And even her “whole team” of hair stylists, wardrobe experts, makeup artists, and drivers did not know the details of the wedding.

As a result of her strong bond with Britney, Paris held back on describing the wedding during her podcast. However, details have leaked. For example, the A-list guest list included Paris’ husband Carter Reum, her mother Kathy Hilton, Madonna, Selena Gomez and Drew Barrymore. And Hilton dished on her choices during her podcast.

“I was actually asked to DJ for the president and all of the other presidents from around the world for the dinner,” shared the socialite. “But this was more important to me. I’m not gonna go into any details because it was the princess bride’s night, and that’s her story to tell. But all I can say is I am just so incredibly happy for her.“
