Priscilla Presley Confesses She Has “Great” Feelings About Being Buried At Graceland

Priscilla Presley is very sure of where she wants her final resting place to be: Graceland’s meditation garden, where Elvis Presley was also laid to rest many years ago.

Speaking on the Presley family’s trials and tribulations with Uncensored host Piers Morgan, she revealed that it’s important that she be buried near Elvis Presley.

“My feelings [about being buried at Graceland] are great,” she said. “That’s, you know, what I want and wanted.”

Priscilla Presley Wishes To Be Buried Near Famous Ex-Husband Elvis Presley

Priscilla was married to Elvis from 1967 to 1973, and when asked whether she’s secured the rights to be buried near him, she said “yes.”

Even though the settlement agreed that Priscilla will be buried near Elvis, she will not be buried directly next to the rock and roll legend. The agreement states that she will be buried as nearly as possible, without moving any existing gravesite.

At this time, Elvis is buried between his father, Vernon, and his grandmother Minnie, whereas his only child, Lisa Marie Presley, is buried across the garden on the other side of the garden with her son Benjamin Keough.

“Elvis was… I’ve never met anyone like him and I don’t think I ever will again, ever,” Priscilla told Morgan. “He had the biggest heart. He had a great sense of humor. He had a lot of love.”

Priscilla Presley Says She Tries To Be Useful To Her Granddaughter Riley Keough By Supplying Her with Information

Following the death of Lisa Marie at 54, a legal battle broke out between her surviving family members as her mother Priscilla refused to let Riley Keough become the sole trustee of the estate as she wanted.

Happily, that’s all in the past now and the family members have started seeing eye to eye. In fact, Priscilla is now actively helping Riley be the best trustee she can be.

“I think Riley will be great. She has asked me a few things about what to do, and we’ll talk…,” Priscilla said. “I want to help her with Graceland. I mean, she has her own career as well and doing so well with her career. She’s so talented.”

She added: “I told her, anything she needs to know about Graceland, about Elvis—more so about Elvis. Because she never really took a part of going to Graceland… We’d go for some special occasion [but] not that many times. But I want her to know about Elvis, and I’ll probably help her in that way.”
