In a new interview, Jennifer Lopez opened up about the details of her documentary, which touches on her highly-publicized romances.

She invited a slew of celebrities to join her project, including Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, and Snoop Dogg. All three turned down her invite.

Even though Jennifer is regarded as an A-lister, some celebrities didn’t want to be involved with her new project. The film focuses on a self-healing journey.

Jennifer feels that joining the project would’ve been a “big leap of faith” for the artists who didn’t take her on her invite.

“The casting director and the other producers came in and they were like, ‘How about this person? This person’s not available.’ And they started saying all these people. If you see me sitting there, that’s not what I want.

What I want is people who represent a certain thing, who could understand what I’m trying to do here,” Jennifer Lopez explained. “And that’s what it took because they needed to trust me and at the end of the day. I think it was a big leap of faith for some of them.”

The “Can’t Get Enough” singer also invited Khloe Kardashian, Jennifer Coolidge, Jason Momoa, Lizzo, and Vanessa Hudgens. They were either disinterested in this project or “unavailable.” The celebrities that were featured in the documentary were Kim Petras, Keke Palmer, Jane Fonda, Jenifer Lewis, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Post Malone.

Jennifer Lopez gave fans a sneak peek into the making of her new film and music video in a documentary called The Greatest Love Story Never Told.

The film came out on Tuesday, February 27. During the emotional film, Jennifer talked about her relationship with Ben Affleck.

She “broke down in tears” as she talked about the role that her husband played in her self-esteem. Jennifer got raw and candid as she revealed how their relationship ended in the early ’00s.

Despite their tumultuous breakup, Ben was still a positive influence in Jennifer’s life.
