Will Smith Emasculated By Jada Pinkett?

Jada Pinkett Smith has gone viral recently for her bombshell interviews about her new memoir Worthy. And in both the book and interviews, Jada has talked in-depth about her relationship problems with husband Will Smith.

However, The View co-host Ana Navarro recently criticized Jada for her remarks. And Ana claimed that Jada’s statements embarrassed and emasculated Will.

But now the actress has reacted by throwing shade. And Jada, 52, said that after hearing Ana criticize her on several episodes of The View, she feels the talk show co-host “hasn’t really done their homework,” according to People.

Ana believes that Jada has focused on “emasculating and embarrassing” her husband Will Smith in discussing their marriage problems amid promoting her book.

But the actress responded, “Well, I think if she took time to read the book, you know? I think that … if you wanna just read headlines, I could see how that could be confusing. But the book is right here.”

Will Smith Knows About Clickbait

However, Jada noted, “People have a right to their opinions. But, you gotta expect it too because of what the headlines are, what ‘clickbait’ is.” And she complained about the headlines that her book has garnered about the estrangement.

But Jada added that her husband “knows what [clickbait] is, I know what it is, my kids know what it is, and, more importantly, Great Supreme does too. That’s really all I’m concerned with at the end of the day.”

And the actress said that she seeks to avoid holding grudges. “I let it go. Because let me tell you — I’ve been there. I’m not gonna sit up here and act like I haven’t. I’ve been there, thinking I know based on headlines. … I have no judgment because I’ve been there.”

Jada Pinkett Smith ‘Drops Bombshells’ For Publicity?

In the episodes of The View in question, Navarro claimed that Jada “drops these bombshells” to get publicity “to sell books. I find it unseemly.”

And then Ana added, “I’m done with the Jada thing, and I’m done defending Will because Will is out there supporting her. I think Will is being held emotionally prisoner. But you know what? It’s their stuff.”

However, Ana also shared that she does not want to read Jada’s memoir. “I don’t wanna give them another dime for her emasculating and embarrassing him to everybody in the world.” But in turn, Jada admitted that clickbait headlines seem inevitable. 

Meanwhile, Will has revealed his own reaction to Jada’s memoir. And he called it “truly overwhelming to take in your story, potently condensed in this way.

I know it wasn’t easy to excavate the depths in that way. I applaud and honor you. If I had read this book 30 years ago, I definitely would have hugged you more.”
