Coronation Street spoilers reveal that coronavirus has made life better in one regard for Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon who plays Maria Connor. How so? According to the star, living in a confined lockdown state has helped to limit her anxiety.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Samia Longchambon Has Been Candid About Her Battle Against Unwanted Anxiety
The beautiful and talented star recently opened up about her battle against anxiety saying, “I’ve found it’s really eased while being on lockdown. I’ve had social anxiety most of my life which has been very challenging. I hope that by talking about it I might be able to assure other people that it’s normal too and that it’s something you can deal with.”
At the present time Samia lives near Manchester with her family including 10-year old daughter Freya, 4-year old son Yves, and her husband, Dancing On Ice skating pro Sylvain, 39.
She has been active on social media during isolation and recently posted a cute pic of the family eating Scotch eggs and pies. Samia captioned the pic, “VE Day picnic… listening to 40’s music on the radio, eating scotch eggs, drinking lemonade and telling the kids about how our grandparents were heroes.”
The family has also posted on social media their participation in the one-minute horse stance charity challenge.

Additionally, the celeb will soon be celebrating her 20th anniversary of joining the long-running UK sudser.
Although she cannot travel to celebrate, she still intends to mark the occasion in grand fashion. According to the star she plans to drink a glass of champagne with her husband!

Like other major productions around the world, Corrie is on hiatus due to coronavirus concerns. Filming has stopped and it is not known when it may resume again.

However, Corrie’s boss Iain MacLeod has said that the show will incorporate the current pandemic into the show when it returns to the airwaves.
Exec’s are now confronting the reality that the soap could actually go off the air for the first time, right before its 60th anniversary. This is because their store of pre-recorded episodes is shrinking without new ones being taped.
It is estimated that filming will need to start by the end of June in order for the show to keep new episodes being shown on a continuous basis.
