There have been some observations of Abi talking to and spending time with her ex, Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne). There are assumptions about the nature of their relationship, but Abi is leaning on Peter as she deals with her addiction. It is something that Peter is doing out of the goodness of his heart, but not everyone feels the same way. Carla Connor (Alison King) isn’t comfortable with Peter getting so close to Abi because of their history together.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Abi knows she has to be completely honest with Kevin. She summons up all the courage she can, then tells him the truth about stealing the morphine from the hospital. She will also let Kevin know just how much she is struggling to stay clean. Then, she braces herself for his reaction and response.

Kevin Webster’s Reaction

It is teased that Kevin will shock Abi at how he responds to her confession. Even though she fears losing him, the opposite will probably happen. He won’t kick Abi to the curb just because she is struggling with something. After all, everyone goes through hard times. What Kevin needs to know, though, is that Abi is taking steps to try and prevent a relapse.

However, when Debbie finds out the truth about Abi being consumed with cravings, will she be as supportive as her brother? Or will Debbie be convinced that Abi has too much baggage and Kevin could end up getting hurt? We will have to keep watching the ITV soap opera to see how this story develops over the next few weeks.
