Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Bill Fellows has something to say about the consequences of the Charlie murder mystery.
Viewers recently learned that Bridget Woodrow (Beth Vyse) was the one who killed Charlie and her mum Lucy Woodrow (Lynda Rooke), helped her cover up the crime. It all started when Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows), Eliza Woodrow (Savannah Kunyo), Lucy, and Bridget shared brunch together.
Eliza asked Stu what it was like to spend several years in prison. Bridget was obviously agitated over Eliza’s question and starts crying. Stu follows her as she rushes out and tries to comfort her. He also shared how difficult it was for him to lose several years for a crime that he didn’t commit.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Guilt Stricken
The guilt-stricken Bridget finally admitted that she was the killer. She recalled how she and Charlie fought after she found out about the affair. During their heated argument, Bridget hit Charlie over the head, which led to her death.
Lucy helped Bridget cover up the crime by moving the body and letting Stu take the fall for the murder so Bridget doesn’t have to go to prison. Stu struggles to process the shocking revelation.
Stu may have told Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King) that he no longer wants to pursue the investigation because he just wants to have a relationship with his granddaughter. However, the DNA results are on their way and it could very well reveal to the public that Bridget’s the killer.
Coronation Street bosses hint that a pair of shocking arrests will be made. How will Stu react if the police learn about what Bridget has done?
Coronation Street Spoilers – Bill Fellows Talks About The Outcome Of The Murder Mystery Story
Bill Fellows revealed that she was shocked when he learned that Bridget was the murderer but he thinks that it’s a great idea.
“I’ve seen some people say that it’s been a great storyline and some people feel like it’s cracked on a bit, but I think that it’s worked really well because it’s more like real life this way. Things don’t get settled in days and weeks, it can take months,” he said.
He said it was a “lovely twist” because many people thought that was his ex-wife, Lucy. Stu definitely feels angry towards Lucy. The actor said that his character would still take the blame to protect his daughter but at least he knows the truth.
