ITV Coronation Street Spoilers – Hot Topics, Current Events, and Real Problems
Corrie spoilers reveal that the soap focuses on a lot of controversial issues, hot topics, and current events. We also see a lot of true-to-life problems that people face in the real world. One example is Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) being groomed and abused as a child. Another is Gemma Winter’s (Dolly-Rose Campbell) untreated postpartum depression. Then, there is coercive control and domestic abuse with Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King).
It was previously teased that the lockdown and pandemic would be referenced in future episodes.
Coronation Street Spoilers – COVID-19 References Begin
According to Digital Spy, on Friday, July 24, the soap will begin referencing coronavirus. It caused everyone’s lives around the world to come to a stop. Entire nations went under lockdown. Some countries had anti-mask protests and claims that it was a hoax. Others dealt with lockdown depression and losing entire families to the virus. There are also those who watched bodies being piled up outside hospitals because the morgues had no more room.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Half-and-Half Episodes
Right now, we have been seeing “half-and-half episodes.” Basically, half the scenes were filmed prior to the lockdown, and the other half was filmed after. This is why some hairstyles don’t look the same and why you see different facial hair. However, the first full episode filmed after the lockdown was lifted will air on July 24. It will also be the broadcast in which COVID-19 is referenced on-screen.
Coronation Street Spoilers – What To Expect
We will see Gary Windass (Mikey North) with Brian Packham (Peter Gunn). They will be at The Kabin and the shop will be set up for social distancing. Adam Barlow (Samuel Robertson) and Imran Habeeb’s (Charlie de Meto) law firm will have a sign about safety protocol. Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) will have her on the front lines as she works at a hospital. Meanwhile, Aggie’s husband worries.
