Why is Johnny doing this? Well, he keeps trying to explain to his wife that he could go away to prison for a long time. So, he previously asked her for a divorce. She’s not giving him one, so this is Johnny’s way of trying to make Jenny so angry that she will leave him. In his mind, this is a chance for Jenny to find happiness in the future and not have to worry about him anymore. Johnny feels that he’s caused enough pain and suffering during the course of their marriage.

Even More Trouble Ahead?

Jenny is really upset that her lunch with Daisy has been ruined, especially since they haven’t seen each other in such a long time. So, Jenny invites them to stay for dinner. However, things will get even worse. Johnny and Jenny’s fighting will continue until things reach an explosive breaking point.
