Coronation Street Spoilers: Daniel Gets Romance With Nicky, But Is He Ready For Love Again?

ITV Coronation Street spoilers and updates reveal that Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) was devastated following the death of his wife, Sinead Osbourne (Katie McGlynn). He had a brief fling with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) before he went to a retreat to deal with his grief. Now, reports state that Daniel will find a new romance with newcomer Nicky (Kimberly Hart-Simpson). But is it too soon for love?

Who Is Nicky?

Corrie spoilers reveal that Kimberly Hart-Simpson will be playing a new character named Nicky. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because she previously was in Hollyoaks. Until today, all we knew is her first name and she would make her first appearance on June 19. However, we now know a little bit more information.

Corrie Updates: Daniel Osbourne’s Return

As fans are aware, Daniel recently returned from his retreat. He went in order to deal with his guilt and grief over the death of Sinead. However, before the retreat, he got involved with Bethany. It was complicated and way too soon. For one thing, others did not approve of their relationship. She also kissed him while Sinead was on her deathbed.

Then, when Sinead died and Daniel began a romance with Bethany, there was at least one time when he mistakenly thought she was his dead wife. To top it off, he proposed to her with Sinead’s wedding ring!

A New Romance?

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Nicky’s first storyline will be directly related to Daniel. Adam Barlow (Samuel Robertson) decides he and Daniel need a “boys night in” together. However, Daniel admits he is lonely and wants to make some changes in his life.

Later, he gets dressed up and goes out on the town to enjoy himself. That is when he meets Nicky, who is described as a glamorous woman. She suggests they head out together, according to Coronation Street Spoilers and News Facebook page. Adam can’t help but notice that Daniel seems happier than he has been in several months.

Coronation Street Spoilers: Is It Too Soon For Love?

Even though the retreat supposedly helped Daniel deal with his guilt and grief, it seems way too soon for another romance. His first priority should be taking care of his baby boy. While everyone needs time to go blow off steam and have fun, romance should be the last thing on his mind.
