Corrie spoilers reveal that Daniel has gone through intense grief after losing his wife to cancer. After Sinead Osbourne’s (Katie McGlynn) funeral, he continued on a downward spiral and not only risked his own life, but also his son’s. After Daniel got back from the retreat, his loved ones were confident that would pick up his shattered life. However, they had no idea that he was doing something much worse than drinking.

Nicky Wheatley’s Participation

Daniel recently met a sex worker named Nicky, who he at first, paid to spend time with him. Then, there was the cuddling. Next, he asked Nicky to wear Sinead’s clothing, and things escalated until one evening, she was asked to eat dinner with Daniel, just like they were a family. If it continues, who knows how far Daniel will go to pretend that Sinead is still alive and with him.

Now, Nicky does try to end their meetings and even suggests a different escort. Then, Nicky gets arrested after Daniel’s outburst. Once she is released, Daniel tells her how much she has helped with his grief and the two decide to become friends.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Tracy Barlow Enters The Picture

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Tracy walks in on Daniel and Nicky. She demands to know who the blonde is and Daniel makes up a story about her being a friend from university. Then, Tracy insists on getting to know Nicky. Now, Tracy is well-known for being nosy and she will soon figure out the truth.

Plus, Adam Barlow (Samuel Robertson) will offer Nicky a large amount of money to stay away from Daniel, which will only complicate the two’s friendship.

Losing Custody?

Express speculates that once Tracy finds out the whole truth about Nicky, especially about her pretending to be Sinead for Daniel, others may find out. This includes Beth Tinker (Lisa George) and the two could decide that the widow isn’t mentally fit.

Could they insist on taking custody of Bertie until Daniel gets the proper treatment for his extreme reaction to grief? We will have to keep watching the ITV soap opera to find out.
