Coronation Street Spoilers – David Platt’s Troubles

David has been having a very hard time lately, As his wife lost her memory during Christmas, as she was shot, which then resulted in her falling into a coma. David stayed by her side throughout her recovery process and even had her transferred to a rehab facility located in Leeds. From then, he decided he would travel back and forth on a regular basis. This left him worn out, and he even got into an accident because of this. So after a while, she decided that she no longer wanted David to see her.

He later would find out that her son, Clayton Hibbs (Callum Harrison), was in contact with her, and he decided to visit him. This, however, did not turn out well. Things only got worse for David, especially after hearing that his wife wants a divorce, but he may not be the only one affected by the things going on between David and Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding).

Max will also be left devastated in upcoming episodes of Corrie when he finds out that David is not going to attending his speech. In upcoming episodes, he will promise to Nick (Ben Price) that he will go to the family meal but instead will fall into a deep sleep. When he does wake up, he will realize that he missed Max’s speech. Max will take notice of David is missing and will be disappointed by his father.
