Corrie spoilers reveal that Todd had been scheming to break up Billy and Paul ever since he was discovered in Eileen Grimshaw’s (Sue Cleaver) attic. When Billy and Todd came face to face after three years, tensions were high. Todd tried to explain why he disappeared without a word. He didn’t care that Billy was involved with someone else now. Todd simply said, “yeah, but I’m back now!” Understandably, Billy lashed out at Todd and tried to explain why they wouldn’t be reuniting.

As the weeks have gone by, Todd’s manipulative schemes have become more intense and bold, including a break-in that ultimately gets Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby).

Corrie Spoilers – Paul Foreman Losing Hope

Paul is being fooled into thinking Todd is a friend. He hasn’t clued in that all the bad things that have happened are because of Todd. A few of these include Paul nearly getting fired, being arrested for assault, and Summer getting hit by a car. Billy has been patient with Paul and doesn’t want him feeling insecure. At the same time, his head is spinning over what compels Paul to do the crazy — and sometimes inappropriate — things he does. After Summer is hit by a car, Billy will lose his temper. Paul ends up going to the Rovers return and is at a low point. He is starting to lose hope that his relationship will last. He feels pretty sure that Billy will dump him. If he thinks about it really hard, he will figure out that Paul’s downward spiral began softly after Todd was discovered alive. In the meantime, he is primarily worried about Summer recovering from the hit-and-run. He is also thinking about Paul endangering all of them, not realizing that Todd is the one who’s behind it. At one point, he will confess that Summer has to come first, which implies they could break up.

During the 2021 preview, producer Iain MacLeod told Inside Soap magazine that Todd would end up getting what he wants. However, he will lose it all just as suddenly as he got it.
