Coronation Street spoilers reveal that there will be a double murder mystery with a shocking conclusion. It all revolves around Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) being drugged. Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) walks in and is horrified to see Abi lying on the floor unconscious. Then, Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) vanishes. Did Debbie commit a sinister act to get redemption?

Corrie spoilers tease that the soap will feature a double murder mystery. We know that Ray vanishes without a trace. So, he is either murdered or flees the area since everything is going south for him. As for Abi, we know she can’t be dead because of the 2021 preview teased by producer Iain MacLeod. He told multiple media outlets that Abi (and several other characters) would get involved with Nina Lucas’ (Mollie Gallagher) romance. It is confirmed that Nina and Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) have a love story that turns into a social issue. That is just barely kicking off, so we are pretty sure Abi survives.

Corrie Spoilers – Ray Crosby Vanishes

As for Ray, things are falling apart for him very quickly and from every direction. He thinks that he gets the upper hand when he drugs Abi and she collapses to the floor unconscious. That is when Debbie comes in and is horrified. She tries to call for an ambulance, but Ray stops her and demands she help him cover up the crime. At some point, after that, he disappears without a trace.

Coronation Street spoilers from Inside Soap magazine reveal that Debbie does manage to call for help and that phone call is traced back to Debbie. When the police question her about it, Debbie says she called for help when she saw Abi lying on the floor and thought she had overdosed. However, it isn’t known if the detectives will believe her story or not.

Corrie Spoilers: Sinister Act Of Redemption?

It is explained in the magazine that Debbie convinces Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) to take back ownership of the garage at no cost. Even though everyone is glad that Ray is gone, there is suspicion over what happened and where he went. It is not believed that he would walk away, even with criminal charges looming over him. It is suggested that Debbie might be trying to redeem herself, but there is a sinister undertone to it. Debbie is known for being ruthless and might have done the only thing that would stop Ray. A source told the publication,

“It’s as though Ray’s hold over the Street suddenly disappears along with him after Sally Metcalfe [Sally Dynevor] learns that the planning committee has revoked Ray’s application, and all their houses are safe. But there’s a sinister undertone to it all…”
