In “Coronation Street,” Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) is set to crumble after her former long-term partner Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) and his new romance Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) decide on a huge plan.

A few weeks ago, “Coronation Street” viewers have seen Fiz and Tyrone drifting apart when Tyrone moved out of No. 9 to cleave to his new girlfriend Alina in the flat above the salon with her housemate Emma (Alexandra Mardell) living with them.

Fans will see the former long-term couple drift further apart in the upcoming scenes. Tyrone presses Alina that they should move to a different place they can call their “own” to live together.

But the beautician still grieves for her late friend Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni), who just passed away last week as a victim of the hate crime headed by Corey Brent (Maximus Evans).

Alina admits she’s not ready to move out, especially that the salon flat holds a lot of memories of her and Seb. Tyrone understands and comforts her, suggesting they can stay for a while.

However, Corrie viewers will see Tyrone bump into Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) on the Street. Debbie halts Tyrone’s smooth plans by announcing she’s planning to sell the flat. It flustered Tyrone, realizing he and Alina need to move out sooner.

Fortunately, Debbie throws him a lifeline by offering the salon if he wants to buy it. Tyrone calculates the expenses and finds out he can’t afford it outright. The mechanic panics and asks Debbie’s brother Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) if he can lend him £8,000 towards the flat’s deposit.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Bad News Has Wings

Tyrone promises Alina they will buy the flat and when she bumps into her roommate Emma, she offers her to stay with them in the flat as long as she wants since they (Tyrone and Alina) will be the new owners.

Not long enough, the news break and Emma accidentally tells Fiz about Tyrone and Alina’s major decision.

The news stuns Fiz, and she starts to fret about the finances. Tyrone might need to sell the house in Weatherfield to have more funds for his new flat for Alina. This idea upset her because if Tyrone pushes through, Fiz and her two daughters will be homeless.

Alan has spoken about his character Tyrone, who is always putting everyone else first for most of his life. “He’s trying to do the best for his family and that is very much a character trait of his, but he feels like it’s something [moving out and leaving Fiz] he needs to do for himself.”

Jennie McAlpine, while celebrating her 20th year in the soap just last month, revealed that her character Fiz is still struggling with the fact that Tyrone left her over Alina.

“Fiz thought it was all okay and they were just rowing like normal people row because life is hard. But that’s not what it was – it was that Tyrone was wanting to be somewhere else, which was with Alina, not Fiz.”
