Last week, Gary’s involvement with Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) was discovered. Sarah, Adam Barlow (Samuel Robertson) and David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) confronted Gary about Ray’s redevelopment plans. Factory jobs would be lost and half the street would be demolished. Sarah was furious and even though Gary felt bad about it, he didn’t show it.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Sarah will call CrimeStoppers and expose Gary’s secret. He is brought in for questioning, but he denies knowing anything. Meanwhile, the gravesite is dug up by authorities, but there is something missing. The grave is empty… there is no corpse.

Sarah learns that the police release Gary, and she is furious. Gary wasn’t arrested because there is no evidence of a crime. In order to charge someone with murder, there needs to be a body or evidence suggesting a crime took place. Gary knows Sarah so well that he probably predicted what she would do.

He might have acted fast and moved the dead body before police got there. Or, he could have worried that Sarah would betray him one day. In order to prevent any “surprises,” the body might have been moved a while ago. Most likely when Gary stopped questioning Sarah about keeping his secret.

However, secrets never stay hidden forever. Eventually, the dead body is going to be found. It’s not a matter of if, but when and how.
