At the worst of it, she had nightmares about harming her babies. In a support group, Gemma is honest about her bad thoughts. However, her honesty could land her in hot water. Could someone report her? Could she lose custody?

Corrie spoilers reveal that Gemma’s postpartum depression wasn’t addressed right away. She kept it a secret, even though she was getting worse. At one point, she had horrifying nightmares and thoughts about hurting her babies.

Of course, Gemma would never do anything to intentionally hurt her children. She did have a few scary moments in that storyline, but everything turned out okay. Thankfully, she got the help she needed before something tragic happened.

One way Gemma is getting help and recovering is by joining a support group. All of the mothers in the group are supposed to be understanding and many share similar experiences. Typically, discussions held in a support group setting are supposed to remain within the group. However, that doesn’t always happen.

Coronation Street spoilers from Digital Spy revealed that Gemma will feel that she can be open and honest about everything. She talks about her ordeal, including details about the nightmares. It is one thing to be honest, but she might end up revealing too much.

Is it possible that there will be more drama and chaos in Gemma’s life? Could someone from the support group decide to report the mother? The nightmares were pretty horrific. Gemma only shares the details as a way to open up, help recover, and maybe to let other mothers know that they are not alone.

Gemma thinks the support group is a safe place to express herself. But she needs to remember that sometimes, things are better left unsaid. Is it possible that someone in the group will report Gemma’s nightmares? If so, then Gemma and Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) could be investigated by child services.

Could they end up getting the quads taken away simply because Gemma was too honest? Will the caseworker understand that she has already sought help? Can she make it clear that she is much better and the babies are not in danger? We will have to keep watching the British soap to see what happens with Gemma and Chesney’s storyline in the next few weeks.
