Coronation Street Spoilers – Yasmeen Metcalfe’s Fear

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Yasmeen will face Geoff once again and when she does, it will just be in her mind. However, his grip on her was so iron-clad that she can’t seem to escape it, even after his death. When Yasmeen once again has to deal with the trauma, she will wonder if she will have to continue living like this for the rest of her life. Well, we have some good news for fans.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Unexpected Help

It was previously confirmed by producer Iain MacLeod that Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) will stay on the soap. She will be fundamental in helping Yasmeen. At the same time, Elaine continues to deal with her own trauma from being married to the monstrous abuser. So, these two women will end up helping each other. Despite being quite different, they do have that common bond and will become unusual, hilarious, and close friends. They will also go through some conversations and situations that will get plenty of laughs from viewers, which is sorely needed right now.

As for why this abuse storyline is continuing, the producer previously explained divorce, fleeing the country, or even death doesn’t end the effects of abuse. He wants to portray victims’ struggles in a realistic way. He hopes that it will help educate people, not just to avoid potential abuse themselves, but to maybe see it in someone else. Even if it just helps one person, it’s worth it. What do you think of Yasmeen continuing to struggle with Geoff despite his death? How long do you think this storyline will carry on?
