Coronation Street abuser, Geoff Metcalf has recently been building a long list of enemies in the village ever since Yasmeen was put behind bars. However, his loyal son, Tim, has been right behind him through all of this being as supportive as he could be. However, Geoff has not just been lying to him about what happened between him and Yasmeen but has also been lying about Tim’s mum. The truth about Geoff’s relationship with Tim’s mum, Tessa will soon be revealed and this could drive a wedge between the father and son duo.

Ian Bartholomew who plays the role of Geoff has recently confirmed that Geoff has been keeping a rather dark secret from Tim for years now. While speaking to the Radio Times, Ian stated, “Geoff has basically lied to Tim for years about what really happened with his mother, Geoff’s first wife. We will be exploring things a little deeper which I’ve always wanted to do. It would be good to find out more about their past, it could be key to how the story develops.”

At this time, Yasmeen is waiting to go on trial for the attempted murder of Geoff.
