Coronation Street spoilers hint that Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) will continue to get worse as he tries to gain control over Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King), who is learning about his past. Yasmeen has been losing trust in Geoff, who has recently admitted to lying about booking a hotel, which was hurtful towards her. This pushed her into making the decision to leave him behind while she went to her grandson’s wedding.

However, she was not able to make that trip because Geoff faked being suicidal, which caused her to go back to him and miss her trip. However, he has not gotten exactly what he wanted as Yasmeen took another step towards her freedom.

In a recent episode, she got into contact with the police and got information about Geoff under Clare’s law. This law allows spouses to find out if their partner has a history of domestic violence. This is an important law and is named after a girl named Clare Wood, who was 36 when she was murdered by her ex-boyfriend back in 2009. She did learn that Geoff might have lied to her about his past as well. She decided to stay with him for the time being but has a bag that she has hidden, which might be her escape bag.

In an upcoming episode, Geoff will be going after Yasmeen’s friend as well. By isolating Yasmeen from her friends, she will have to rely on him much more. When her friend, Cathy, comes over, Geoff will take an instant disliking to her and will manipulate the situation in order to get Yasmeen to say something that will offend Cathy. This caused her to storm out in a rage.

She is then told by Geoff that she has lost a friend. Will this convince her that she should probably leave, or will she stay a little longer?
