Corrie spoilers reveal that Geoff was literally going crazy not being able to control Yasmeen. He started to flip out in public and people are beginning to talk. The whole reason he is lashing out and risking exposure is his inability to control Yasmeen’s thoughts, actions, and not knowing what she plans to do next. He is not allowed to call her or visit the prison, which has been good for Yasmeen. The separation is exactly what she needs to realize and accept the truth.

He did steal Alya Nazir’s (Sair Khan) phone and intercepted a call from Yasmeen. So, he was able to talk to his wife, but the plan to manipulate her ended up failing.

The initial conversation caught Yasmeen off guard and he might have had a chance to get back his victim. However, she has been reading a book given to her by a fellow inmate. It’s all about coercive control. Then, that same inmate hands Yasmeen a contraband phone and encourages her to call Geoff and take back control. With trembling hands, Yasmeen does it and tells Geoff to not contact her again. Then, she hangs up.

Anyone with experience or knowledge of abusive relationships understands what a huge win this was for Yasmeen. She took back her power and control. Basically, it is the beginning of an abusive victim making a psychological U-turn.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Discrediting Abuse Victim

However, Coronation Street spoilers indicate that Geoff will try to control the situation once again. If he can’t control his victim, then he will control the way others see her, Digital Spy reported. He does this by announcing on the radio that he forgives Yasmeen and just wants to help her. It’s a classic manipulation technique and unfortunately, it tends to be quite effective.

Even though it seems that all these backsteps keep happening and then, Yasmeen has a heart attack, don’t give up watching. The soap has confirmed that Yasmeen will get justice in the end. Her story has a happy ending for her and just in case you’re wondering, show bosses have absolutely no intention of redeeming Geoff. He’s not a human being, he’s a monster and they are going to keep him that way.

In the end, Yasmeen ultimately wins the war and reclaims her life.
