During a recent episode, fans watched as Abi tried to deal with the devastating realization that the twins were moving away with their adoptive family. It was heartbreaking for her. Even though she was trying to be strong, Gemma Winter’s words (Dolly-Rose Campbell) stung. Gemma ended up apologizing, but it doesn’t change the hurt that it caused.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that a source told The Sun that Abi will face temptation this summer. As many know, addicts will forever have to fight for their sobriety. Life can be challenging and in order to be successful, they have to be ready to deal with struggles and temptation. Abi is going through a trauma and this makes her ripe for a relapse.

“Abi’s tried so hard and she’s finally in a place where she has a shot at a happy life. But it’s all going to come tumbling down around her and her old habits start to resurface. Kevin’s going to have no idea what she’s going through and Abi will need to find every bit of strength she can muster to not relapse. Viewers are going to be left questioning whether she can do it or whether she’s a lost cause.”
