Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) and Sarah Platt’s (Tina O’Brien) baby storyline will be revisited. They previously made plans to have a baby, but they were derailed for several reasons. Will it push through this time?
Coronation Spoilers – Adam Barlow Brings Back The Baby Topic
In upcoming scenes on Coronation Street, Adam takes Sarah for dinner because he wants to discuss something. He tells Sarah that they should make time to talk about having a baby.
Unfortunately, Sarah is no longer keen to have a baby this time because of her business. She and Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) are trying to win a big contract, so she’s always working late.
So, Sarah tells Adam that now is not a good time to talk about having a little one when the time is right. However, later in the week, Sarah tells Adam she is willing to think about it.
Sarah and Adam’s plan to expand their family was derailed when Lydia Chambers (Rebecca Ryan) attempted to break them last year just when they had just reconciled after Adam’s fling with Carla Connor (Alison King).
Coronation Spoilers – Tina O’Brien Not Keen With the Baby Storyline
When Adam and Sarah got back together in 2021, Tina O’Brien said that “the time is right” for the couple to have children. However, she is personally not too keen about playing pregnant.
“I think I’m going to have to say to the writers: ‘Yeah, please don’t bother! I’ve done it twice, can we stop please?'” O’Brien told Digital Spy back then.
“Honestly, we have twins Freddie and Isaac who play little Harry — they are adorable and I love working with them — but it’s the stuff before where you have to wear the bump for ages and you’re carrying it around in every scene.”
So, Tina O’Brien thinks Adam and Sarah should consider putting things on hold for a while longer.
Coronation Spoilers – Sarah And Michael Win The Contract
Meanwhile, Sarah and Michael, with the help of Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) meet with Rufus (the investor from Donahues) at the Bistro. They will later win the investment contract with Rufus, who even wants exclusive rights to their products.
